Antonella Varesano is specialized in particular aspects of ICT like new media languages, semiotic and new kinds of communication strategies, mostly in how to use technologies as creative tools in the schools and companies. She started in schools at all levels around 1990, from 1999 to 2008 she taught subjects as Multimedia Technologies, New Media Studies and Visual Design in Udine University, Graduate Program for Multimedia Technicians, Pordenone, Italy. From to 2000 to 2005 she created the NewMediaLab, a private institution in Triest devoted to use Technology as Humanities matter. At the moment she works as consultant for research project between Companies and Universities.
